Lal Kitab - An Astrological Marvel
Lak Kitab is the type of astrology in which one can calculate and know about his past, future and can change his future according to his will. Lal Kitab is a mysterious book that is originally written by pundit Roop Chand Joshi. It is written in Urdu without the element of punctuation and sounds Greek to a layman. Poetical verses interpolated with philosophy and hidden nuances of destiny form the core 'farmaans' of the book. Book contains 1097 pages. The solutions and remedies given in Lal Kitab are very effective. Some of the remedies given in this may look odd in this modern age but if performed accurately and at right time, right days, and right period then it shows miraculous results and it changes the life. Most of the problems are cured and they never arise again. Even if remedies are not performed perfectly there is no harm adverse effects.
Lal Kitab, originally published in urdu language, enshrines such effective astrological principles and remedial measures that it has rightly been termed as "The Wonder Book" of Astrology.
The science of palmistry too has been explained in such an exquisite manner that each of the 42 divisions of the human brain have been related to the different houses of a man's birth chart in such a scientific manner that the sketch of the human brain reflects accurately on the lines of the palm. On the basis of these lines of the palm one can draw the actual horoscope of an individual and can do the placement of planets in various houses of the birth chart. The date of birth and the birth ascendant can be found out by reading the lines and mounts of the palm, which means that an individual's accurate birth chart can be drawn by seeing the lines of his palm. Similarly, by studying the different aspects of a man's residential house his birth chart can be accurately prepared on the basis of the sutras explained in the Lal Kitab.
In addition to the above, Lal Kitab has announced unique remedial measures to solve chronic and critical human problems in day to day life. These measures do not require the practice of ordeals, yagnas, havans and other complicated and expensive rituals, which prove more troublesome for persons who are already in trouble because of the evil effects of certain planets. These measures are again different from Yantras, Mantras and Tantras, which give various adverse effects if not followed rigorously in all their minute details. The measures suggested in Lal Kitab are electrically effective in solving all kinds of human troubles and tensions, without inflicting harm on anybody i.e. these remedies are completely self defensive against the evils created by the planets without causing injury in anyway to anyone concerned.
The first part of this great treatise contains the principles and Sutras for interpretation of horoscope, termed as "Vyakaran". The birth chart of an individual is prepared like the traditional Parashar principles, but the only important difference is that the Rashis are not considered or taken into account for predictive astrology and, therefore, the digits indicating the Rashis in a traditional birth chart are scrapped. Secondly, for predictive purposes the ascendant is treated as the first house and it is regarded as the house of the first Rashi, i.e., Aries and counting progressively in a sequence up to the 12th house being that of Pisces.
The specific principles of predictive astrology as per Lal Kitab are better summed up here as follows
The Sun as lord of the 5th, the Mercury as lord of the 3rd and 6th, the Jupiter as lord of the 9th and the Saturn as lord of the 10th are directly or indirectly in some form or the other are the Karakas of the father and his property. But the Jupiter and the Sun, Jupiter and Mercury or Jupiter and Saturn occupying any house jointly carry no relevance to the knowledge about father or father's property at all. Even Mercury and Sun, Mercury and Saturn or Sun and Saturn also sitting together behave in the same manner.
If two or more inimical planets are occupying a single house, they will not behave as enemies. But it does not mean that they do not affect the influences of each other and show their own results of being in that house independently i.e. their conjunction does not affect their individual results.
Friendly planets together occupying a house become extremely friendly and help each other in producing good and auspicious results.
The 7th house is regarded as the Pucca Ghar (permanent house) of Mercury. If Mercury is placed in the 7th house of a horoscope, even the powerful planets like Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn occupying a Kendra, 2nd or 11th house can not affect the health of the native adversely.
If a female planet is placed in any house along with Saturn and both are being expected by any other planet, then the expecting planet will become afflicted and affect adversely the persons and relatives of such expecting planet as Karakas.
In general, all planets in their Pucca Ghar, own house or exalted house give good results. A planet in inimical house or in a house of debilitation gives bad results. If a planet is not placed in his Pucca Ghar and the same is occupied by a planet inimical to such planet, then that planet will destroy the good results of the house in which he stands placed.
While examining a horoscope, the 1st, 7th, 8th and 11th houses must be examined together as they are mutually interested. The planets in the ascendant is treated as a ruler and the one in the 7th acts as his minister. The planet in the 8th is the eye of that ruler, whereas the planet in the 11th house is the ruler's foot. More planets in the 7th house than the 1st house shows that the ruler does not have required control over his minister. If the planets in the 11th house are inimical to the planets in the first house, then they will not obey the command of the ruler i.e., the results of the 11th house will be adversely affected. The planets of the 8th house (eyes) guide the planets of the 7th house (minister) and control their actions and effects. If the planets of the 1st and 8th houses are friendly, then the planet in the 7th house can not play any mischief. Mars in the 7th is considered to be highly conducive for gaining large property. But if mercury is in the Lagna, it will destroy the properties. It will be destroyed because of the foolishness of the native, because here the Mercury being in the first house is Karaka of the native. At the same time if the Mercury is in the 8th house, it will again destroy the properties, but here the reasons for destination will be unknown and invisible, because the active elements of the 8th house are always secretive and mysterious in nature over which the native has no control. Similarly, if the planets of the 1st and 11th houses destination are friendly, they will control the planets of the 7th house. If they are inimical, the results would be bad. The planets of the 1st house aspect the planets of the 7th house. If they are mutually inimical, then the bad results accrue because of the foolishness or unworthiness of the native. The planets of the 8th house aspect the planets of the 2nd house and thereby affect their results.
2nd, 6th, 8th, 12th and 11th houses must also be examined simultaneously as follows :
The planets of the 8th house aspect the 2nd house and thereby affect the results of the 2nd house. The effects of the aspects of the planets of the 8th house over the 2nd house are affected by the planets of the 11th house - favourably if friendly and unfavourably if inimical.
The planets of the 2nd house aspect the 6th house and affects its results. The planets of the 6th and 8th houses have secret relations with each other, because of which they also affect the planets of the 2nd house (+++).
The 12th house also affects the 2nd house (+++). If there are evil planets in the 6th and 8th houses, (because of their secret/implied conjunction) their evil power increases 10 times.
If the planets in the 12th and 8th houses are inimical, the native should not visit temples and other places of worship.
The 3rd, 11th, 5th, 9th and 10th houses must also be examined simultaneously as follows:
If there is any planet in the 3rd house, it will start showing effects after the birth of the native's younger brother. If the 9th and 5th houses are occupied by Saturn Rahu or Ketu then the unfavourable changes start coming up in the native's life just after the birth of the child.
If there are good planets in the 9th house and there is no planet in the 2nd house, the native remains deprived of all the benefits.
If there is no planet in the 4th house, or it is occupied by Rahu, Ketu or Saturn, then the good results of the 10th house will not be received by the native. If 10th and 2nd houses are empty, the good results of the 4th house will go waste.
If the 3rd and 9th houses are bad, the 5th will also prove bad.
If the 9th is occupied by Sun or Moon, the 5th house will give good results.
If the 9th is occupied by Sun or Moon, then Rahu or Ketu in the 5th will neither affect the issues of the native or the native himself adversely.
If Rahu or Ketu be placed in the 5th and there are inimical planets in the 8th then strokes of misfortune will hit the native through the 11th house. The relatives indicated by the planets of the 5th and 8th houses will also be affected. In this situation the earnings of the native will also be affected very adversely, if the 2nd house is empty. Nothing will be able to save the native. Now the planets of the 10th and 5th will also turn to be malefic whatever be their natural character.
The Underlying Philosophy
To know and understand about what Lal Kitab says or prescribes, one has to be familiar with the way astrology works. It is said that - based upon ones past karma, one is born into a certain constellation of planets or "grehas". Each planet is based upon its nature and its placement casts some effect on the life of the individual. The effect may be either positive or negative and its magnitude may also be different. Lal Kitab also gives various remedies to check such negative effects. The nine planets can be likened to nine different colored lights placed at varied distances from a screen. The screen can be analogue to human life ; the net intensity and colour of illumination on the screen is a complex function of all individual lights. There may be a yellow light that is bright but far and a red light that is equally bright but nearer - the effect will be reddish. Here red corresponds to malefic Mars, while yellow to benefic Jupiter. If we wish to make the screen yellowish and life better, I will strengthen the yellow light, say by wearing the yellow sapphire and at the same time, place a opaque filter before red light (by propitiating Lord Hanuman, the deity Mars represents). As a result, reddishness will decrease and yellowishness will increase, making life wealthier, happier and better. Upayes or remedies of this book are pure photographic techniques. The ancient astrological science is a replete with solutions which start from prayer to chanting mantras. In the Parashar school, stress is on japa, tapa, mantra, and yantra, etc. The Lal Kitaab has simpler solutions revolve around temples and its deities - temple here is meant in a secular way and any place of worship may be used beneficially. The nine Lumanaries are powered by the nine corresponding divine Gods : Sun is Vishnu, Moon is Shiva, Mars is Hanuman, Jupiter is Bhrahma(not Bhrahm), Venus is Lakshmi, Mercury is Durga, Rahu is Saraswati and Ketu is Ganesha.
How to create a horoscope chart as per Lal Kitab methodology
The horoscope chart for the Lal-Kitab astrology can be derived from the vedic horoscope charts. The vedic horoscope contains the twelve houses and the location of the planets in to different houses. Each house is also assigned a number that represents the zodiac sign. It represents the position of planet in a particular zodiac sign at the time of native’s birth. The example of the vedic horoscope chart is shown below.

The first house is called the “lagna” and the zodiac sign in the first house will be called its lagna sign. So the total twelve lagans will be possible in vedic astrology. Here in above example the lagna is Scorpio as the number 8 is written inside the first house.
The Lal-Kitab astrology does not give weight to the lagna. It assumes that all the native in the World will have one lagna only and that is “Aries”. So to create a horoscope as per the lal-Kitab astrology, remove all the numbers from the vedic horoscope chart as shown below.
Now re-number each house starting from the first house as shown below.
The lagna will be "Aries" for all the natives as per the Lal Kitab astrology. Now the horoscope chart is ready for the analysis as per the Lal-Kitab methodology.
Nature of the Planet – Benefic or Malefic
One can determine whether a planet is benefic or malefic using the table shown below. You must know your “Lagna” to know the benefic and malefic planets. Lagna can be determined by the vedic horoscope. The zodiac sign of first house in vedic horoscope is called the lagna of native.

This table provides the general behavior of planets for different lagans. The nature of a planet may change depending on the other conditions present in the horoscope. One should try to understand the behavior of the planet based on their past experiences. Otherwise he/she should consult some Lal-Kitab practitioners.
The relationship among planets
The different planets will have friendly and enmity behavior with each other. The vedic astrology computes the friendship and enemy behavior among planets based on the natural relationship and using the placement of planets. The Lal-Kitab based relationship among different planets is shown in the table below.

if rahu is with Sun or aspecting it, it produces effect of solar eclipse in the horoscope. Similarly if Ketu is with Moon or aspecting it, it produces effect of lunar eclipse in the horoscope. The Jupiter is the GURU of all the planets that is why not a single planet will have enmity relationship with the Jupiter.
The planets and their exalted and debilitated signs
Every planet has an exalted and a debilitated sign. When a planet is in exalted sign, it is supposed to produce the very best result for the native. In debilitated sign, the planets do not perform well and result in evil effects. The following table shows the exalted and debilitated sign of each planet.

We have also added a new column “Mool-Trikon”. The planet is also considered like exalted if it is situated in its Mool-Trikon sign. The number in the bracket shows the degrees. For example, if Sun is situated in Leo with in 0 to 20 degrees, then Sun is said to be in its Mool-Trikon sign.
There is no consensus on the exalted and debilitated sign of Rahu and Ketu. But we will assume it as shown in above table.

This is also called “Lagn”. It is very important house. It represents the person, his nature, health, longevity, personality, appearance, prosperity, reputation and status, complexion, head and brain.

The house number II represents one’s wealth, family, livelihood, male child, higher education, second marriage, possession of precious stones and metals, money in cash, earning capacity, financial status, fortune, prosperity, speech, vision, movable property, face and its organs.

It represents younger brothers or sisters, one’s courage, physical strength, sports, initiatives, entrepreneurship, power of understanding, short journeys, writing and communicative capacity etc.

It represents mother, happiness, upbringing, relatives, friends, supporters, basic education, vehicle, conveyance, domestic peace, mental peace, spiritual life, confidence, immovable properties, real state, lands, wells and tanks, house, home and assets.

It represents intelligence, emotions, intellectual and mental talents, memory, creativeness, love, romance, speculative gains from investments, organizational ability, success, children knowledge, wisdom, higher learning, training, social life etc.
House No. VI
This house represents problems, disputes, diseases, injuries, debts, enemies, opponents, competitors, fear, doubts, worries, weaknesses, maternal uncle, misunderstanding, confrontation and litigation.
House No. VII
It represents marriage, spouse, term relationships, legal ties, partners in life and business, vitality, potency, fertility, passion, outgoing nature, adultery, moral conduct, pleasure, comforts and life in foreign lands, success in love affairs, home abroad, travel, trade or business etc.
House No. VIII
It represents longevity, research, interest in mystical science, occult, inner and outer transformations, past and future events, inheritance, death, insurances, easy gains, marital ties, fear, accidents, obstructions, litigation, theft, losses, misfortune, disgrace, disappointment.
House No. IX
It represents father, preceptor, spiritual learning, spiritual inclination, intuitions, charity, virtue, destiny on the basis of past life, happiness, foreign travel, long journeys of short durations and life in foreign lands, education abroad, grace, luck, general fortune, sudden and unexpected gains, pilgrimage, law, medicine, remedies, past etc.

It represents career, profession, vocation, promotion, livelihood, power, fame, public esteem, status, position, honor, Karma in life, character, authority, government, employer, living abroad, ambition, next birth.
House No. XI
It represents income, prosperity, gains, profit, friends, elder brothers or sisters, hopes, aspirations and their fulfillment etc.
House No. XII
It represents expenses, losses, expenditures for charity, end of life, life in foreign lands, obstruction in life, separation from family, enlightenment, imprisonment, hospitalization, pleasure of beds, sound sleep etc.

Sun in House I
If Benefic
Native will spend money on religious means, constructs shelters for deprived peoples, obedient to his father but there is no guarantee that his son will be obedient to him, teetotaler, merciful, angry young man, always get benefits from government, government service, idealistic personality
If Malefic
If sun is in enemy’s zodiac sign, debilitated, aspected by functional malefic planet and Venus is related with seventh house, native’s father may die in his childhood. Sun in first house and Mars in fifth house leads to death of children one by one. Life will be full of problems if Sun is malefic and Mars & Jupiter is also weak in the horoscope. Sun in first and Saturn in eighth house, the native will have two wives.
Remedies
Create a source of water in the ancestral house (Hand-pump). Never have sex in the day time.
Sun in House II
If Benefic
Sun in second house along with Jupiter not aspected by Saturn will lead to prosperity of maternal relatives and doughter’s in-laws family. An enemy will be destroyed in 11 days, 11 months or 11 years. Native will serve his/her family and earn money by his/her own efforts. The above mentioned result will increase if moon is situated in sixth house. Sun in second, Rahu or Ketu in eighth house, native will be worthy and never tells a lie. If Rahu is in ninth house, native will be a painter or artist. If Ketu is in ninth house, native will be a technician. Native will be fond of many things if Mars is in ninth house. If Saturn is in tenth house, he/she will be wise person and honored in the society. If Saturn is in eleventh house, native will remain rich and poor periodically.
If Malefic
Native will have quarrels and problems related to money matters, women and property. Native will be bereft of mother and sister’s love. If Moon is in eighth house, it will be highly inauspicious for the native if he/she takes anything free of cost from anyone. Native will remain depressed and face scarcity of money if Mars is in first house and Moon is in twelfth house.
Remedies
Donate articles related with Saturn (Iron, coal, black cloths, mustard oil, liquor, coconut etc.). Donate almonds at tample/ Mosque/ Gurudwara/ Church. Never accept donation from anyone.
Sun in House III
If Benefic
Earn prosperity and money by his/her own handwork, knowledge in astrology, mathematician, profits from mental works. The native may become unhealthy and carry misfortune if he/she becomes characterless. If position of Moon is also benefic in the horoscope, native will earn huge profits through out the life. Native will have special profits if deals in articles related to Moon (water, milk, pearl, white clothes etc.). Never accept stolen goods. If Mercury is also in third house with Sun, profits from brothers, nephews are expected.
If Malefic
If Sun is malefic in third house and the Moon is also malefic then native may loose wealth due to theft etc. If first house is also malefic then the neighbors will be destroyed. If Mercury is also malefic along with Rahu, Ketu and Saturn then it is inauspicious for the maternal uncle of native.
Remedies
Never do any sinful act. Never be characterless.
Sun in House IV
If Benefic
Native will have enough wealth for the old age. Native will be kind and merciful. His/her children will be rich. The trade in articles related with the house where Moon or Jupiter is situated, will bring prosperity. If the Moon is also in fourth house, new research work may bring lots of profit for the native. Combination if Sun & Mars in fourth house, makes a person peace-loving and kind hearted. If Mercury is situated in fourth along with Sun, Native will be a famous businessman and earn profits by traveling. If Sun, Moon and Venus are in fourth house, native will have lucky parents and earn profits from good and sacred deeds. If Sun, Mars and Moon are situated in fourth house, trade in gold and silver will certainly bring profit.
If Malefic
The inauspicious Sun in fourth house makes a person greedy and he/she faces many problems in life. The native may be involved in illegal activities. If Saturn is in seventh house, native may have eye problems. Mars in tenth house makes the native lucky but suffers from eye disease. If tenth house contains Moon, Jupiter or Mercury, inauspicious results may come. If Jupiter is in tenth house, native may face loss of gold. Native should not trade in articles related with Saturn. Native may face obstacles from secret enemies.
Remedies
Donate money to blind people at ancestral house. Feed blind peoples. Never trade in iron and wooden articles. Native must trade in gold and silver.
Sun in House V
If Benefic
Profits from sheep and goat. Kitchen in east direction generates auspicious results. Good for old age, children and family will always be progressive. If Saturn is in eleventh house, the parents will be long-lived. Jupiter in ninth or twelfth house keeps the enemies under control but native will be deprived of children.
If Malefic
If Jupiter in tenth house, wife will die. The inauspicious Saturn in third house destroys children.
Remedies
Provide shelter to monkeys (only red face monkeys). Provide shelter to birds, cock, and children. Build kitchen in the east direction.
Sun in House VI
If Benefic
Native will be short-tempered, dependency on government, earn money without any hurdles, rich, honorable in society, If Ketu is in first or seventh house, native gets benefits from government and blessed with male son. The life after 48 years will be marvelous. Moon, Mars or Jupiter in second house makes native conservative or orthodoxy.
If Malefic
Not good for children, maternal relatives, health of native. Native will not have sound sleep in night. The son may be destroyed if Mars is in tenth house. Wear iron. Use silver glass for drinking water. Never take any electric equipment as a gift. Do not keep blue sapphire, ivory or toys in the shape of an elephant.
Rahu in House XII
12th house belongs to Jupiter. It signifies bedroom. Rahu here gives mental troubles, insomnia. It also leads to excessive expenditure on sisters and daughters. If Rahu is with its enemies then it becomes next to impossible to make ends meet, despite hard labour. It also leads to false allegations. One may even go to the extreme of contemplating suicide. One has mental worries. Telling lies, deceiving others etc. may make Rahu even more malefic. If some body sneezes at the start of any new work if gives malefic effect. There may be theft, diseases or false allegations. If mars is with Rahu here, then it gives good results.
Remedies
Take your meals in the kitchen itself. Keep Saunf and khand under the pillow for
good night's sleep.
Ketu: Its effect in twelve houses and remedies
Ketu in House I
If Ketu is auspicious or benefic in this house, the native will be laborious, rich and happy, but will always be concerned and troubled because of his progeny. He may fear frequent transfers or travels, but ultimately it would always be postponed. Whenever Ketu comes in 1st house in Varsha Kundli there may be birth of a son or nephew. there may also be a long journey. The native with Ketu in 1st house will always be beneficial for his father and/or guru and causes exaltation of Sun. If ketu in 1st house is malefic, the native would suffer from headache. His wife would have health problems and would have worries concerning kids. If 2nd and 7th houses are empty then Mercury and Venus would also give bad results. There would be travels, transfers with no gain. If Saturn is malefic it would destroy father and guru. If Sun is in 7th or 8th house then after the birth of a grandson the health would suffer. No alms should be given in morning and evening.
Remedies
Feed jaggery (gur) to monkeys. Apply saffron as Tilak. If offspring is troubled then donate a black and white blanket to temple.
Ketu in House II
2nd house is affected by Moon, which is an enemy of Ketu. If Ketu in 2nd house is benefic then one gets paternal property. One has to travel a lot and his travels are fruitful. Venus gives good results, irrespective of its position. Moon would give bad results. If Sun is in 12th house then one starts earning his livelihood after twenty four years and is happy. If Jupiter is exalted along with Ketu in 2nd house, then income would be in lacs of rupees. If Ketu in 2nd house is malefic, then one has to travel to dry areas. One cannot rest at one place and would be wandering from place to place. Income may be good, but so would be the expenditure. Thus net gain would be negligible. If there is Moon or Mars in 8th house then native's life would be short and he would have serious problem at the age of sixteen or twenty years. If 8th house is empty then Ketu would give malefic results.
Remedies
Apply turmeric or saffron as tilak. One should not be of loose character. If one religiously visits temples and bows his head there then Ketu in 2nd house would give good results.
Ketu in House III
3rd house is affected by Mercury and Mars, both enemies of Ketu. Number 3 would have an important role in the life of the native. If Ketu in 3rd house is benefic then his children would be good. The native would be god fearing and a gentleman. If Ketu is in 3rd house and Mars is in 12th then the native has a son before 24th year of age. The son would be good for wealth and longevity of the native. The native with Ketu in 3rd house usually gets a job, which entails long travels. If Ketu in 3rd house is malefic then native loses money in litigation. He gets separated from his wife/sisters-in-law. Ketu in House V
5th house belongs to Sun. It is also affected by Jupiter. If Jupiter, Sun or Moon is in 4th, 6th or 12th house then one's financial condition will be excellent and the native will have five sons. Ketu becomes benefic by itself after twenty four years of age. If Ketu in 5th house is malefic then the native suffers from asthma. Ketu gives malefic results till five years of age. Sons will not survive. Livelihood starts after twenty four years of age. The native is unlucky for ones sons.

Donate milk and sugar. The remedies of Jupiter would be useful.
Ketu in House VI
6th house belongs to Mercury. Ketu in 6th house is considered debilitated. This is 'Pucca' house of Ketu. Here again the effect of Ketu depends upon the nature of Jupiter. It gives good result regarding son. The native is a good adviser. If Jupiter is benefic then the native has a long life and his mother is happy and the life is peaceful. If any two of the male planets viz Sun, Jupiter, Mars are in good position then Ketu is benefic. If Ketu is malefic in 6th house then maternal uncle suffers . The native has to suffer due to useless travels. People turn into enemies without any reason. The native suffers from skin diseases. Wear golden ring in the finger of left hand. Drink milk with saffron and wear gold in the ear. Heat up a rod of gold and then dip it in milk. Then drink it. It would restore mental peace, increase longevity and is good for sons. Keep a dog.
Ketu in House VII
7th house belongs to Mercury and Venus . If Ketu in 7th house is benefic then the native gets the wealth of forty years in twenty four years of age. The wealth increases in proportion to the children one has. The native's enemies are frightened of the native. If one has the help of Mercury, Jupiter or Venus then the native is never disappointed. If Ketu in 7th house is malefic then the native is usually ill, makes false promises and is troubled by enemies till thirty four years of age. If there are more than one planet in Lagna then ones children are destroyed. If one abuses then the native is destroyed. If Ketu is with Mercury then after thirty four years of age the native's enemies are destroyed by themselves.
Remedies
Never make a false promise, be proud, or abusive. Use saffron as Tilak. In case of serious trouble use the remedies of Jupiter.
Ketu in House VIII
8th house belongs to Mars, which is an enemy of Ketu. If Ketu in 8th house is benefic then the native begets a son at thirty four years of age, or after the marriage of ones sister or daughter. If Jupiter or Mars are not in 6th and 12th house then Ketu does not give malefic results. similar effect is there when Moon is in 2nd house. If Ketu in 8th house is malefic then the native's wife has ill health. son will not be born, or may die. The native may suffer from diabetes or urinary problem. If Saturn or Mars are in 7th then the native is unlucky. In case of malefic Ketu in 8th house the native's character determines the health of his wife. After twenty six years of age the family life suffers.
Remedies
Keep a dog. Donate a black and white blanket in any temple. Worship lord Ganesha. Wear gold in the ear. Use saffron as tilak.
Ketu in House IX
9th house belongs to Jupiter, which favours Ketu. Ketu in 9th house is considered to be exalted. Such a native is obedient and lucky. It increases ones wealth. If Ketu is benefic then one earns wealth through ones own labour. There will be progress but no transfer. If one keeps gold brick in his house then wealth comes. The son of such a native is able to guess the future. One spends a big part of his life in foreign land. One has at least three sons and if 2nd house is auspicious then Ketu gives excellent results . If Moon is auspicious then the native helps his mother's family. If Ketu in 9th house is malefic then the native suffers from urinary problems, pain in back, problem in legs. Ketu in House X
10th house belongs to Saturn. The effect of Ketu here depends upon the nature of Saturn. If ketu is benefic here then the native is lucky, concerned about himself and opportunist. His father dies early. If Saturn is in 6th then one is a famous player. If one keeps on forgiving his brothers for their misdeeds the native will go on progressing. Here Ketu is considered very good. It gives wealth. This house is affected by Jupiter and Saturn. If Ketu is benefic here and Saturn is in 3rd house, it gives enormous wealth. The wealth earned by the native is more than his paternal wealth, but one tends to worry about his future. If Mercury is in 3rd it leads to Raj Yoga. If Ketu is malefic here then the native has problem in his abdomen. The more he worries about future, more troubled he is. grandmother or mother of the native suffers, if Saturn is also malefic. Then there would be no benefit from son or house.
Remedies
Keep black dog. Wear an onyx or emerald.
Ketu in House XII
Here Ketu is considered to be exalted. The native is wealthy, achieves a big position and spends on good works. If Rahu is in 6th house, along with Mercury, then the effect is even better. One has all the benefits and luxuries of life. If Ketu in 12th house is malefic then one buys land from an issueless person and the native becomes issueless himself. If one kills dogs Ketu gives malefic results. If 2nd house has Moon, Venus or Mars, Ketu gives malefic results.
Remedies
Worship Lord Ganesha. Do not have a loose character. Keep a dog. Saunf and khand under the pillow for good night's sleep.
General remedies of Lal Kitab ---- Remedies for malefic Planets
People in this world are depressed and anguished mentally, some are physically, some by children and some by spouse. There is no harmony between in the family as before. The tradition of the joint family has already been shattered. Who is not in distress ?. Every body needs peace and solutions to their problems, they need freedom from these problems.
Lal Kitab provides remedies imbibing good conduct, helpful for betterment of society, arousing interest in ancestral traditions, religious culture and faith in god with the interweave of astrology / jyotish so that the person could secure relief from the pain as well as remain connected with the societal customs.
While the remedies of the traditional astrology are time consuming and costly, the remedies of the Lal Kitab are simple, easy and cheap. The remedies of the Lal Kitab have been divided into three categories as trial, remedy and good conduct. Trials are meant for quick relief. Remedies offer long term relief and good conduct affects permanently.
In Lal Kitab nine planets have been accorded prominence as in the classical astrology / jyotish. Also the future telling is based on the planetary position according to the twelve houses. But there are differences in classical astrology and Laal Kitab.
In Lal Kitab the ascendant will always be arise under all circumstances whereas accurate future telling is prevalent in the traditional astrology by taking the ascendant into the account. Planets exert malefic effects in two ways according to the Lal Kitaab.
For example, the remedies will work when a planet sitting in a house exerts influence according to the house but when the same planet starts exerting its own influence, no remedy will work.
In addition to the above, Lal Kitab has unique remedial measures to solve chronic and critical human problems in day to day life. These measures do not require the practice of ordeals, yagnas, havans and other complicated and expensive rituals, which prove more troublesome for persons who are already in trouble because of the evil effects of certain planets. These measures are again different from Yantras, Mantras and Tantras, which give various adverse effects if not followed rigorously in all their minute details. The measures suggested in Lal Kitab are electrically effective in solving all kinds of human troubles and tensions, without inflicting harm on anybody i.e. these remedies are completely self defensive against the evils created by the planets without causing injury in anyway to anyone concerned.
Remedies or upayes in Lalkitab
Some examples of remedies prescribed in Lal Kitab are Throwing copper coins in running water, taking blessings of elders by touching their feet, praying and worshiping god and goddesses, refrain from alcohols, offering food to disabled, helping widows, offering food to crows, cows or dogs. Again some others like distributing sweets or throwing patashas in running water. Throwing of jowar or coal in running water. So these were some examples of remedies that are recommended in Lalkitab that helps a person from troubles and tensions.

Remedies of Lal Kitab
Prerequisites before performing Lalkitab remedies:
Any remedy of Lal Kitab can be started at any time. However it must be observed continuously for 43 days after starting once. If you are not abler to continue it for 43 days due to some hindrance or forgetting about it for a day or two you should discontinue it for a few days and then restart the process afresh and uninterrupted for 43 days. Unless the prescribed remedy is observed continuously for 43 days, its full reward remains uncertain.
The remedies affect a certain measure or reward if some rice washed with milk is kept nearby before beginning the observance of the prescribed remedy. The remedies of Lal Kitab must be observed during the day [in the presence of sun]. No effect can be seen for the remedies observed either before dawn or after sunset. Besides there remains the possibility of loss.
However some remedies in Lal Kitab have been said to be observed during night. The practice of the remedies suggested in Lal Kitab should be observed by the sufferer himself. But in case if he/she is helpless and cannot do himself only in that situation it should be done by someone else after getting it touched by the hand of the sufferer.
NOTE- THE MEASURES OF LAL KITAB ARE EFFECTIVE IN SOLVING ALL KINDS OF HUMAN TENSIONS AND TROUBLES WITHOUT INFLICTING HARM ON ANYBODY BUT IF THE PLANET IS IN ITS OWN HOUSE ACCORDING TO LAL KITAB THEN ONE CANNOT CHANGE THERE GOOD OR BAD RESULTS.

Certain specific remedies based on Indian astrology: Lal Kitab
To get relief from the affects of ghosts or the unknown
Do Bajrang ban path for seven times a day
Wear mahamritunjaya yantra locket in black thread in neck on auspicious day.
Person can wear a combination of three stones only after consulting astrologer. The stones are yellow sapphire, pearl and cat's-eye
Wear 10 faced Rudraksha in a black thread after performing pran pratishta pooja, in neck
Do path or Durga daily or Durga pooja and wear Durga bias yantra locket in neck.
Wash whole house with gangajal and burn googal at home, recite Gayatri mantra at least for 108 times.
Some remedies for peace and prosperity
Everyday perform hanuman pooja.
On Saturday give oil for lord shani.
Keep fast and do Shiv pooja on Mondays during sawan month.
Give one pair of shoes to a poor person on Saturday.
While getting up in the morning look at your palms and kiss them three times, starting from Saturday and do not tell about it to any one.
Stones have special place for peaceful and successful life.
Some remedies for getting and multiplication of money.
Make 108 balls of wheat while reciting Om hrim nameh lakshmi mantra 108 times and feed them to fishes. Do it for 108 days. Financial status will increase by this.
Apply kesar and chandan on forehead.
If earning is good and you are not able to multiply the income then give chapatti with oil applied on it to a black dog on every Saturday.
For gaining money suddenly give scented agartbatis in charity in goddess lakshmi temple.
Some remedies for welfare of children·
In case you are worried about children's health etc or worries due to them then give dresses of all the idols of gods and goddesses in kept in temple.
If your child is not able to speak properly give him shankh water to drink daily. Also a stone will be recommended for that.
If you or your child does not get relief from cough even after taking medicines then for relief one should wear loban plant's root in the neck on Tuesday or Friday.
If your acidity problem is not curable then for relief wear bracelet or ring made out of horse shoe or nail taken from the bottom of the boat on Sunday, Saturday or Tuesday.
In order to be debt or loan free remedies are
To get rid of loans bring water from a cemetery well and pour it in a peepal tree for 6 Saturdays.
Give chapatti with oil applied on it to a black dog on every Saturday and fill coconut with bura or gur powder and bury it under a peepal tree.
Plant two banana [ male and female ] trees in Vishnu temple and look after them. When they will start giving fruits then loan will start reducing. Do not eat the fruits of that plant yourself. Let others eat it.
Every day give water to rising sun. put 11 seeds of red chilli in it, keep reciting Om adithyaye nameh while pouring water and pray for return of the loan.
Gems and stones will definitely help in repayment of loans.
Apply kesar and yellow chandan on forehead starting from any shukal paksh's Thursday at 12 am and do path of Shri suktam.
Plant ashoka tree and water it daily.
Recite hanuman chalisa with the help of your family members daily for 108 times. And let this process continue for another 40 days. Observe brahmacharaya and keep your house clean in these 40 days. Also avoid food made of onion, garlic and non vegetarian food. After these 40 days bestow chola and halwa Prasad to Hanumanji in any hanuman temple on Tuesday. You will surely get benefit out of it.
For improving business
Tie 5 gomati chakras in a red cloth and tie it on the entrance of your shop or office on Friday after 11:30 am.
For having better job
Take a big yellow lemon and cut it in 4 equal parts in the evening or before sunrise and go to chauraha [ where four roads meet] and throw the pieces on all four directions. After throwing pieces go home and not anywhere else. Repeat this remedy for 11 days.
Some remedies for saving one from bad eyes of others
Take little raw milk on a Saturday or a Sunday and give 7 rounds of it around the affected persons head and after that give that milk to a black dog to drink.
Take a piece of fitkari and give 21 rounds of it around the affected person. Take it to chauraha and throw it on the south side.
Take some burning coal in a vessel and put loban powder on it. Let it smell spread through out the house. While doing so do not keep the vessel on the floor, table etc. keep holding it. Throw the burned coal in a place outside the vessel for washing. Do this on Tuesday for three months.
Tie one red chilli, sindoor, an iron nail and seven grains of black dal in a white cotton cloth and hang it on the bed of the child.
Some remedies for improvement of relations
Take 7 flower shaped longs [ cloves] and take the name of the person with whom one wants to improve the relations 21 times and burn one clove on a Sunday. Do this for seven Sundays till the cloves finish. Ladies should avoid doing this on periods.
To improve spoiled child
throw silver balls in a river for 25 days.
Wear a copper coin threaded in a black thread in neck.
Children who are not good at studies
Take some water on Sunday and recite mantra Om aan vanyay svaha 21 times and ask the child to drink that water. If child can recite the mantra by himself, then ask him to recite this mantra for 108 times every day
Stones or gems can definitely help for growth of children
Children suffering from bad dreams or are crying without reason
Such children who are crying without reason or taking bad dreams should keep a piece of fitkari on any Sunday or Tuesday near child's head while sleeping
Some remedies for wining over court litigations
Sleep in south direction
Keep Tuesday fast and read Bajrang ban daily for seven times.
Keep a square silver piece tied in yellow cloth with you.
